1
Dye a white leotard or bathing suit, using a box of red fabric dye. Mix the dye bath according to the box's instructions, then let the garment soak for an hour. Ring it out, wash it and dry it.
-
2
Cover the leotard with small black dots, using a black permanent marker, to make it look like a strawberry with seeds.

3
Cut a piece of elastic that is about the length of the distance around your child's waist. Glue the ends together to make a loop of elastic.
-
4
Cut up a piece of green tulle into strips, so you have about four dozen strips that are about 12 inches long and 1 inch wide. Tie each strip onto the elastic, making a knot at the center of the strip so the ends fall down under the elastic. Continue until all the strips are on the elastic, fanning out like a tutu.

5
Cut out a strawberry shape from a piece of red felt. Make the strawberry about 4 inches tall. Use a stencil to trace the image onto the felt if you can't draw in freehand. Glue the strawberry to a headband.
