1
Lay the washcloth on a flat surface with the print side facing down. Washcloths with colorful edges or designs make more attractive lollipops.
-
2
Make 1-inch folds until the entire washcloth is folded into a 1-inch strip.
-
-
3
Roll the folded washcloth into a ball. Leave the colorful edges or lining facing up when you start to roll to create a swirl of color in the center.
-
4
Hold the washcloth firmly and slide it into a lollipop bag or wrap it with cellophane. Pin the roll in place with a safety pin, or sew one or two large stitches if you don't want to wrap it, to secure the roll.
-
5
Twist the open end of the bag closed and secure it with a clear, small rubber band.
-
6
Insert a lollipop stick or small wooden dowel into the bag through the center of the rubber band.
-
7
Tie a decorative ribbon around the stick, over the rubber band. Use colors that complement the baby shower colors and the washcloth lollipops.
