How to Get the Super Bowl Secret Level of "Angry Birds"

A secret level is hidden in "Angry Birds."

You’ve cleared out every rascally pig in “Angry Birds” and aced each level. You’ve even managed to beat all the hidden golden egg levels. What’s next? Those with itchy trigger fingers can rejoice. During the 2011 Super Bowl, a movie trailer for the animated film “Rio” aired, containing a clue related to a secret level in “Angry Birds.” The golden egg for the secret level revealed in the trailer is accessible in level 13-12.

Instructions

1. Tap on the stage selection icon, and tap on episode five. Scroll to the right to display stage 13, and tap on level 12.

2. Fire the first yellow bird anywhere.

3. Aim the second bird to the left of the platform, and release it.

4. Tap on the screen, when the bird is directly over the middle of the left ramp. The bird will fire its egg and, if timed correctly, will unlock the golden egg for the secret level. The white bird’s egg must hit the midpoint of the left ramp, to unlock the secret level.

5. Press the menu button, and exit the level. Return to the stage select screen, and tap on the golden egg icon.

6. Tap on the golden football icon, to play the unlocked Super Bowl level.

Tips & Warnings

• If you miss the golden egg on the first try, you can try again with the last white bird.
