      Pour white vinegar into the pot until all the burned residue is submerged.

      Place the pot on your stove burner, and bring the vinegar to a boil. Let it boil for about 10 minutes; you will notice the majority of the burned residue releasing from the pot.

      Turn off the stove burner, and let the pot cool for about 10 minutes. Then, scrub it with a soapy dish rag, and rinse the pot.
