How to Be a Lifeguard on Club Penguin
In your travels around the world of “Club Penguin,” you may have noticed some player characters have Lifeguard uniforms. These uniforms come with a special dance animation that allows the wearer to swim when in water. Becoming a lifeguard does not require any sort of special in-game achievement or mission, and it's relatively simple once you know what to do. You must be a paid “Club Penguin” member to complete this task; free members do not have access to the lifeguard uniform.

Sign into your “Club Penguin” account.

Click the “Map” button, and select “Stadium.”

Click the “Snow and Sports” catalog, in the lower-right part of the screen.

Click through the pages, until you see the Lifeguard shirt.

Purchase the shirt for 180 coins.

Jump into a pool of water while wearing the shirt, and click the “Dance” button to swim.
