How to Fold a Pocket Triangle With Utensils
The pocket triangle fold is a folded napkin that allows you to place the dinner utensils inside. When you are finished folding the napkin and insert the utensils, only the tops of the utensils will be showing above the folds. This is an exquisite way to impress guests at a formal dinner event. Place a starched, ironed napkin on a flat work surface with one of the straight hems facing you. Fold the top half of the napkin down to the bottom half.

Fold the left half over to the right half. Turn the napkin so the open end is pointing away from you and the folded corner is facing you.

Fold the top layer of the folded napkin down so it lays on top of the bottom half.

Fold the top layer down so the hem is 1/2 inch to 1 inch above the hem from the previous fold. Press down to crease the fold. Repeat with the next visible top layer of the napkin.

Turn the napkin over. Fold the right corner so it touches the area slightly to the left of the middle of the napkin.

Fold the left corner so it touches the area slightly to the right of the middle of the napkin. Turn the folded napkin over and insert the utensils in the pocket.
