How to Make a Luna Cork Necklace
Luna Lovegood is a character from the Harry Potter book series by J.K. Rowling. Luna was introduced in the fifth book of the series, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," and is known for her eclectic and quirky personality. One of Luna's quirks is her choice in accessories – one of her most memorable pieces being her necklace made of butterbeer corks. This necklace can be easily re-created using regular wine corks or corks from a craft store. This necklace is great to wear for a Potter-themed party or at fan conventions.
Things You'll Need
- Corks (as many as you like)
- Thread or ribbon
- Scissors
- Large sewing needle
- Beads (optional)
Instructions

1
Decide how long you want the necklace to be and then cut the thread or ribbon to your desired length.
-
2
Thread the thread or ribbon through the eye of the needle.

-
3
String the corks onto the thread by using the point of the needle to poke a hole through the side of them and sliding them along the thread. String a bead between each cork for a more feminine look.
-
4
Tie both ends of the thread together to complete your cork necklace.
