How to Defeat King Boo in "Luigi's Mansion" for the GameCube
In “Luigi’s Mansion” for Nintendo GameCube, you direct Luigi on his mission to save Mario from the clutches of the evil King Boo. The game’s final battle takes place on the roof of the mansion, where King Boo will pilot the monstrous body of Bowser -- Mario’s archenemy. To defeat King Boo, you must first draw him out of the body.

Turn on your vacuum, and run toward one of the three spiked balls Bowser throws at you. The suction will hold the item in place on the vacuum’s nozzle.

Launch the ball at Bowser’s face, when he leans forward to breathe fire. Walk backward, to avoid the ensuing explosion. Bowser’s head will fall off, and King Boo will emerge from the body.

Direct the vacuum’s suction at King Boo, to suck away at his 500 health points. Bowser’s head will hover above you and shoot balls of ice, so avoid his attacks as you grapple with King Boo. If the balls of ice hit you, King Boo will escape the suction and return to Bowser’s body.

Repeat these steps until King Boo’s health is reduced to zero.

Tips & Warnings
Toward the end of the battle, Bowser’s body will rampage around the area. Seek shelter behind the nearby columns until the rampage ends.
If you run too far from Bowser, he will jump into the air and try to crush you with a heavy landing.
