How to Paint Swing Sets
The proper painting and maintenance of a swing set ensures its lasting value. As a swing set sits in a yard, used or unused, it is subjected to the weather. Rain, sleet, hail, cold and snow take a toll on the paint of the set whether it is wood or steel. This not only causes the swing to be unsightly but also exposes the base of the set to rot or rust. Be sure to use lead-free paint, and replace the bolts and screws after painting to ensure safety. Does this Spark an idea?
