How to Make a Swirly for a Myspace Photo

Myspace has a built-in photo editor that you can use to alter the appearance of photos uploaded to your Myspace account. The Myspace photo editor offers several options, ranging from color effects to distortion effects. If you want to add a swirly effect to a photo uploaded to Myspace, you can do so by using the "Twirl" distortion effect in the Myspace photo editor.

Instructions

1. Launch your Web browser and visit Myspace.com. Log in to your Myspace account.

2. Click "Photos" along the top of the page. Then click "My Photos" along the left side of the page.

3. Scroll through your pictures and select the photo you want to add a swirly to. Click the "Gear" icon in the upper right corner of the picture and select "More editing options." An editing window appears.

4. Click the "Distort" tab at the top of the editing window. Then click the one of the two "Twirl" options. One of the twirls swirls the photo counterclockwise while the other twirls the photo clockwise.

5. Adjust the size of the twirl by sliding the "Size" slider bar to the right or left. Adjust the intensity of the twirl by sliding the "Strength" slider bar to the right or left.

6. Hover your cursor over the photo where you want the swirly to appear. Click to apply the swirly. Note that a preview of the swirly appears on the photo before you click it.

7. Click the "Save a copy" button to save the changes to the photo. Note that Myspace saves both the original photo and a copy of the photo with the swirly on it in case you aren't happy with the result.
