Ribbon Wreath Ideas
Ribbon wreaths are easy-to-make decorations that can complement your existing home decor or serve as a colorful seasonal ornaments. You can even create personalized ribbon wreaths to hang at "guest of honor" celebrations such as birthday parties or baby showers. Use a variety of corresponding colors to develop a whimsical, eye-catching palette. Hang your ribbon wreath on your front door, above your bed's headboard or above a fireplace mantel.

- Grosgrain ribbon in multiple colors
- Scissors
- Foam wreath form
- Straight pins

Cut the ribbon into strips, varying from 8 inches to 1 foot in length. Cut approximately 30 strips.

Wrap the strips of ribbon smoothly around the foam wreath form. Secure the strips using straight pins. Push the pins into the foam until the head of the pins are flush with the ribbon.

Alternate colors of ribbon. Wrap some strips diagonally and overlap others. Continue until the wreath form is entirely covered with ribbon.

Cut the ribbon into strips, varying in length from 4 to 8 inches. Cut approximately 150 to 200 strips.

Wrap each strip into a loop with the ribbon's pattern facing out. Attach the loops to the foam wreath using pins pushed into the center of the loops.

Alternate colors and loop sizes throughout the wreath. Continue until the wreath is entirely colored with ribbon.
