How to Decoupage a Tissue Box Holder
Decoupage is one of the simplest ways to transform an ordinary object into a decorative accent piece. Anyone can be an artist when using a decoupage technique. Scissors, paper and glue are all that are needed. Magazines, sheet music, photos and even newspaper can be cut and glued to decorate ordinary household items. Tips & Warnings
Flowers, birds and children are popular subjects for decoupage.
Wrinkles can be left to add an interesting texture to the piece.
Move the paper, not the scissors, while cutting out pictures; this prevents jagged edges.
Work on one section at a time to prevent the decoupage glue from drying too quickly.
