How to Make Lines on a Bulletin Board for a Football Field
A well-designed bulletin board provides additional learning materials for students and draws their attention. The beginning of the school year often coincides with football season, making a football-themed bulletin board a good option. A football bulletin board can be customized to fit with any subject or topic in the classroom. Regardless of the purpose of your bulletin board, placing a football field as your background ties the whole bulletin board together.

1
Staple green fabric or construction paper onto the bulletin board in the shape of a rectangle to create the grass for your football field.
-
2
Measure the length of your football field and divide the football field into 10 equal sections. For instance, if the rectangle measures 50 inches across, a new section starts every 5 inches. Mark the sections with pencil along each long end of the rectangle to ensure you position the white lines straight.

Cut strips of white construction paper 1/8 to 1/4 inch wide and as long as the width of your rectangular field top to bottom. You will need 9 of these strips. If the construction paper is too small to make the proper length, use more than one strip for each line on the field.

Staple each white strip to the green field at the marked intervals.
