Instructions

    • 1

Check to make sure the dryer door is closed. The dryer won't power up if the door isn't closed completely.

    • 2

Press the start button and hold it down for at least 5 seconds, especially if there is a power outage in your home.

    • 3

Check the fuses at the breaker box to make sure they haven't blown or been tripped. If they've been tripped, flip them back into the on position. If the fuses are blown, change the fuses.

    • 4

Check the lint tray if the dryer runs but doesn't seem to be cooling. Remove the tray by hand and rake the lint from it with your fingers. Place a vacuum cleaner hose attachment down the lint tray chute area (where the tray rests in place) and vacuum the area out.

    • 5

Check and clean out the dryer vent running from the back of the dryer to outside the home. Remove any trapped lint with a bent wire coat hanger from the outside.
