How to Make a Front Post Treble Crochet Stitch
A front post treble crochet stitch, abbreviated in patterns as FP TR, wraps the yarn around the post of a stitch in the previous row. When you work a regular crochet stitch, you insert the hook under the top of a stitch in the previous row. When making a front post stitch, you insert the hook behind the vertical post of the stitch in the previous row. Treble crochet is also called triple crochet in some patterns.
