How to Make Burning Man Costumes
Burning Man is a festival in the Nevada desert celebrating individuality, creativity and freedom. At this large festival, people shed the normal rules that come with living in a modern society. They often make unusual costumes to wear at the festival. The one thing that all of these costumes have in common is that they are breathable, as the Nevada desert is unforgivably hot. Obtain light, colorful clothes that does not have any logos on them. Find clothing that will breathe because it is extremely hot in the desert and you will not have much shade. Do not be afraid to wear a skirt if you are a guy. Pastel and neon colors are common and should be worn as much as possible.

Apply temporary hair dye into your hair. Just like the clothing, neon and pastel colors are common, so do not be afraid to dye your hair any of these colors.

Rub body paint onto your skin. Colors such as green and red are used to paint the thousands of bodies at Burning Man. Apply the body paint to all of your open skin.
