Things You'll Need

  • 24-inch-diameter double-rail wire wreath form
  • 5 feet 4-inch wide wired satin craft ribbon
  • Measuring tape
  • Scissors
  • 12 3-inch satin rosettes
  • Hot-glue gun
  • 3/16-inch round craft pearls (optional)
  • Satin bow
  • 25-foot indoor-outdoor twinkle-light strand (optional)
  • Wreath hanger (optional)
  • 8-inch pedestal candle (optional)
  • 12-inch hurricane globe (optional)

      Select the color for the satin ribbon. Red is a good choice for Christmas. Pastels such as baby blue, soft pink or candlelight yellow are good choices for Easter. if the light strand, satin rosettes and craft pearls are the same color as the ribbon, it will create a tone-on-tone wreath, however, you can select different colors.

      Tie a knot to secure one end of the ribbon to an inside edge of the form. Loop the ribbon around the form until it is covered, allowing for approximately 1/4-inch of ribbon overlap.

      Cut the ribbon 4 inches past the end of the last loop. Secure the end by tucking it into the ribbon folds.

      Lay the rosettes on the wreath-face in a circular pattern. Make adjustments until you like the arrangement. Attach the rosettes to the wreath-face with small beads of hot glue. Attach the craft pearls to the wreath-face in a random pattern with tiny beads of hot glue.

      Attach the satin bow to the wreath-top inner front edge with small beads of hot glue. Loop the lights loosely around the wreath.

      Follow manufacturer's instructions to attach the wreath hanger, hang on your front door. Follow manufacturer's instructions to illuminate the twinkle lights. Placing the wreath in the center of your table is another option. Position the candle inside the wreath, light the wick. Place the globe around the candle, which also protects the flame.
