As different global cuisines have become more popular over the world so has the traditional method of eating the food. The most obvious deviation from the knife, fork and spoon are the chopsticks that are widely used in Asian cooking. With some practice, these become easy to use, but as a helping hand a rubber band can be fitted to the chopsticks as a spring-loaded mechanism. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

      Remove the chopsticks from the paper wrapper and break them apart.

      Take the paper sleeve and starting at the bottom fold and roll it into a small rectangle. If the chopsticks do not come in a wrapper, any small piece of paper will be suitable, for example a strip of paper napkin.

      Place the paper between the two chopsticks an inch from the top.

    • 4

      Wrap the rubber band just above the paper in a figure-of-eight motion so the band becomes wrapped around both chopsticks and through the gap in the middle.
