How to Troubleshoot the NG Indicator on a Turbine
You wouldn't consider your home to be a safe environment for you and your family if it wasn't fitted with a working smoke alarm so there should be no reason a NG (natural gas) indicator cannot give you the same piece of mind. This unit does a similar job, except instead of detecting smoke, it detects any buildup of natural gas, giving you a vital warning if there is a potential leak. On appliances such as gas turbines, this should be maintained in the face of any minor malfunctions which could occur with the unit. Does this Spark an idea?

Visually inspect the unit for any warning lights or other visual indications of problems. These will invariably correspond to a problem in the user manual, which will allow you to fix the problem promptly.

Push the "Test" button on the front of the unit. This will test the battery and give an audible noise if the batteries are working. Replace the battery, if necessary.

Visually inspect the wiring that runs into the unit as any frayed wires or loose connections can be responsible for the unit not functioning properly. Ensure that the damaged wiring is replaced by an expert.
