Make personalized charms for your guests' glasses.

They are even more convenient when all the wine glasses will look the same. Differentiate your guests' beverages by offering them distinctive paper tags that you made yourself. Tags can be bought in stores, but it's so simple to make your own, it seems a shame to purchase premade ones. Get creative and make a special one for each party guest. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Make the tag itself using card stock and either a large hole punch or scissors. The hole punch will produce a perfectly round tag, or you can use a shaped hole punch to make different shapes. Use scissors to cut your tag shaped as you desire. Patterned or colorful card stock makes cute tags.

    • 2

Punch a small hole in the tag using a smaller hole punch. Punch the hole toward the edge of the tag so there will be more room for decorations on the tag.

    • 3

Decorate the tag. Use stick-on crystals, letters or small stickers to customize each tag. Use letters to put a guest's initials on his tag, or use the crystals to make shimmery tags for female guests.

    • 4

Thread a small jewelry hoop through the hole in the tag, and the tags are ready to slip around wine glass stems at your next get together.

Tips & Warnings

  • Slip small beads on either side of the tag to jazz up the tags even more.

  • Ribbon or jewelry cord can be used in place of the jewelry hoop if desired.
