Buderus G115 Troubleshooting

Continued heating for the home is a basic comfort that every person should enjoy, particularly during the winter months. If you have a malfunctioning boiler, it is vital that you get the unit fixed -- and ensure you can enjoy a warm home. Issues such as incorrectly-positioned switches, a dearth of fuel and no power could be afflicting your Buderus G115; in this case, you should attempt to fix the issue.

Instructions

1. Make sure that power is being supplied to the boiler. Check for any tripped breakers, which you should reset in order to provide household power to the unit again.

2. Press the reset button on the burner if the fault-indicator lamp on it comes on.

3. Ensure that the room thermostat is set high enough for the boiler to activate. If the thermostat is not set to a sufficiently high temperature, the burner will not ignite. This may be mistaken for a more serious issue.

4. Perform some switch checks. Make sure that all burner emergency switches are in the "On" position and check that the boiler manual safety switch is in place.

5. Visually inspect the level of fuel in the fuel tank; if it is below the advised level, refill it.
