Instructions

  1. Design brush pencil shaft

    • 1

Get an old pen shaft without the ink portion of the pen. Clean the inside of the shaft to clear out ink residue. Get a 1/2-inch brush and crazy glue one end the brush trim so one end becomes a solid piece and the other one is brush hair. Use tape to accelerate the drying process. Make sure the end that you glued together fits inside of the old pen shaft.

    • 2

Grab the pen shaft and join it with the customized brush piece. Apply a small amount of crazy glue inside the pen shaft when introducing the customized brush. Wait five minutes for the glue to settle. To make sure the brush does not slide in, use tape to attach the brush to the pen shaft and make sure the tape is water resistant. Alternatively, use your aluminum brush holder instead of the tape.

Make sure the customized pencil brush is fixed, once you have noticed that the pencil brush is totally fixed, grab your scissors and cut the brush to your manner. If you need a pointy brush, trim all the brush hairs on the outside of the brush to keep the middle ones longer. Cut brush hairs depending on the style of pencil brush you need.

If you have an old pencil brush that you don't use anymore, you can apply step 3 and just cut the trim brush depending on the style of brush you need.
