How to Make a No-Sew Bolster Pillow

Bolster pillows can be easily made without sewing to add a little luxury to your bed set.

Bolster pillows are posh, comfy bed pillows that make your bed look more luxurious and classic. Making them is easy. You can create one for yourself without even picking up a needle and thread. In this no-sew version of the bolster pillow, all you need is some fabric, towels, rubber bands and a paper towel tube and you will have made your own custom bolster pillow for your bed set.

Things You'll Need

• 2 bath towels
• Cardboard paper towel tube
• 2 rubber bands
• 25-by-35-inch lightweight fabric

Instructions

1. Fold two towels in half, lengthwise, and stack them on top of each other. Lay the cardboard tube at one end, and roll the towels together.

2. Lay your fabric right-side up, and fold the top and bottom edges under by about 2 inches. Take the folded edges of your top and bottom edges, and fold the fabric toward the middle and overlap the edges to make a tube of fabric. The wrong side of the fabric should be facing out with a strip of the right side of the fabric showing across the middle.

3. Close the ends of the fabric tube with rubber bands, and turn the fabric right-side out. Stuff the rolled up towel into the pillow case, and tuck the gathered ends into the paper towel tube, enclosing the towel in the fabric.
