How to Get the Signal and Buzzer to Stop on a Whirlpool Dryer
The Whirlpool electric dryer has a cycle signal that sounds off with a loud buzzing noise to indicate the drying cycle is finished, and is enabled as a default setting on the dryer. Although the buzzer feature is helpful if you need a reminder to remove your clothes, it is loud enough to disturb others in your home or apartment. If you are drying a load of clothes late at night or do not wish to disturb others you can disable the dryer's buzzer, which causes the dryer to stop running automatically once the cycle's set time runs out. Does this Spark an idea?
