How to Honor Your Husband in a Scrapbook
Father's Day and wedding anniversaries allow you a chance to give your husband a meaningful gift that shows your love for him. Instead of another tie or video game, honor your husband this year with a scrapbook documenting you and your family's love for him. Scrapbooks can be as time consuming, difficult or expensive as you decide to make them, but with a little creativity the end product can be wonderful.

1
Collect pictures of your husband with his friends and family. Anything that will bring up a good memory is appropriate for a scrapbook honoring your husband.
-
2
Find "masculine" scrapbook paper, like earth tones, blues and greens, plaid, stripes and argyle to use in your scrapbook. If your husband has a favorite color or pattern, be sure to include those as well.

3
Arrange the pictures on all of your pages before you start cutting or gluing. This will help you see how the project will turn out, and if you have extra pictures you can move them around or omit them. Arrange the album chronologically or by activity. For instance, you could have a page dedicated to birthdays, another to camping, another to a vacation or to teaching his kids to play basketball.
-
4
Cut out complimentary paper to frame your pictures or glue the pictures directly on the scrapbook pages. You can create a distressed look by tearing paper or sanding the edges of chipboard letters to decorate your pages.
-
5
Use embellishments like brads or buttons to decorate each page where you see fit.
-
6
Add quotes to your scrapbook, either inside jokes or famous quotes about love or marriage.
-
7
Add the pages to the scrapbook when you are all done and give it to your husband.
