How to Change the Resolution on a G4050 Scanner
When you scan a document on your HP Scanjet G4050, you should make the resolution on the initial scan as close to the final resolution as possible. Scanning the image at a resolution that is too large lowers the scanner's speed. On the other hand, scanning the image at a resolution that is too small causes problems when resizing the image – the image may look blocky or show artifacts that make it look grainy. You can adjust the resolution on the G4050 scanner in the HP Solutions Center software.
