How to Put a Facebook App on DSi

The Nintendo DSi, Nintendo's signature handheld gaming system, offers Facebook integration that allows you to take photos with the DSi and post them directly to your Facebook account using a special application. The Facebook app is available automatically in version 1.4 of the Nintendo DSi system menu and later. If you want to use your Nintendo DSi with Facebook, you must update the system menu on your DSi to version 1.4 or later.

Instructions

1. Remove any games from your Nintendo DSi and turn on the device.

2. Tap the "Settings" icon on the main menu using your stylus. The Settings icon is an image of a wrench.

3. Tap the right arrow with your stylus three times to arrive at page four. Tap the "System Update" option from the menu. A pop-up menu appears.

4. Tap "Yes" with your stylus, then tap "Next."

5. Tap the "I Agree" button with your stylus, then tap "OK." The DSi connects to the Internet and automatically downloads the most updated version of the system menu. Once updated, you can access the Facebook application by tapping the "Facebook" icon on the sticker toolbar in the Photos menu on your DSi.
