Bottle cap construction makes them versatile for projects.

Bottle caps can be used for so much more than just keeping the liquid inside bottles. Secondary uses for bottle caps include as items in jewelry, decorations and other art projects. Bottle cap stickers are applied to the inside edge of the bottle cap to give it a feature. You can make your own bottle cap stickers depicting whatever you want, using basic craft materials and should ensure that your finished sticker will fit inside a bottle cap.

Instructions

    • 1

Design your bottle cap sticker using a graphics program on a computer, drawing it yourself, or finding the design in a magazine. Print out the design if using a graphics project. The design for the sticker should be 1 inch in diameter or less.

Cut out the design using scissors, or use a 1 inch diameter circle punch to punch the design out in a circular shape, which will fit perfectly into the bottle cap.

    • 3

Apply a layer of craft glue to the back of your sticker. Alternatively, if printing out or drawing the project, you can use adhesive paper. In this case peel off the protective layer on the back of the adhesive paper.

Press the sticky side of the paper into the bottle cap. Smooth away any creases. Allow time for the glue to dry.
