Remove all of the G1S home gym’s attachments. These include the lat bar, the straight bar, the ankle straps, the ab straps, the tricep straps and the towel holder.

    • 2

Make a detailed list of all items that you remove from your G1S home gym. As you remove pieces of hardware, be sure to place the screws and bolts in labeled zip-lock bags so you can easily identify them later on.

    • 3

Use an adjustable wrench and pliers to remove the two bolts at the base of the unit. These connect the 160-pound weight stack to the base of the unit. By removing the weight stack, the G1S unit will be much lighter and easier to move.

    • 4

Use the adjustable wrench and pliers to detach the top overhanging bar if the unit is too tall to fit through the doorway. You will need to loosen and remove all four bolts in order to detach the overhanging bar of the G1S home gym.
