How to Make Fabric Cuffs
Fabric cuff bracelets can be worn to accessorize a casual, every day look or dress up a more formal outfit. The cost of a store-bought cuff bracelet can get expensive, depending on what materials are used to make them. But they are easy and less expensive to make yourself. You can make fabric cuff bracelets from leftover scraps of fabric and lace, then add beads, buttons and other embellishments.

1
Measure around your wrist, and add 1 inch. Cut a piece of fabric to this length by 2 inches wide. This piece will be the base of your cuff bracelet.
-
2
Fold one end of the fabric over -- 1/2 inch toward the back of the fabric. Stitch along the raw edge of the fold to secure it.

-
3
Take your second piece of fabric, and cut it 1 inch smaller than the size of the base piece. Lay this piece of fabric on the base piece, and sew it in place all the way around.
-
4
Cut your 1/2-inch ribbon to the length of the bracelet. Center the ribbon on the bracelet, and sew in place.
-
5
Make a buttonhole in the folded end of the base fabric. If you have a machine that does buttonholes, then use it. If you don’t, you can make it yourself. Flip the bracelet over so the back is facing you. Center the button on the folded part, and make a mark using a pen on either side of the button. Set the button aside. Draw a line between the marks you made. Sew around these marks, to create the outside of the buttonhole. Use a knife to cut a slit for the button.

Attach the button on the front side of the opposite end of the bracelet.
