Create a red or black reindeer nose.

One of the most famous reindeer was known just for his nose. The one-of-a-kind red-nosed reindeer known as Rudolph led Santa's sleigh, but not without the help of the rest of the reindeer with black noses. Creating a reindeer nose is fairly simple, but add some detail to it to make it more three-dimensional and interesting. Use construction paper for the project, which is inexpensive and easy to work with.

Instructions

    • 1

Draw an oval shape onto red or black construction paper, relative in size to the overall reindeer. If you are creating regular reindeer, use the black construction paper for noses. If you are creating a Rudolph craft, use the red construction paper for its nose.

    • 2

      Cut out the oval shape.

    • 3

Add detail to the reindeer noses by creating a shape which will reflect shine on them. Draw out a thin, crescent shape onto white paper. This shape should fit within the nose shape, taking up about one-fourth of the nose.

    • 4

      Cut out the crescent shape.

    • 5

Glue the crescent shape onto the oval nose, just inside one of the shorter sides of the oval shape.

    • 6

Glue the finished nose to the rest of the reindeer.
