1
Wash your face with water and mild face soap. You want the area where you are applying the rhinestones to be clean so the adhesive sticks better and the rhinestones stay on longer. Applying rhinestone body art over oily skin can cause the adhesive to not work as effectively. Dry your face with a washcloth and avoid using any lotions or skin gels on the skin.

2
Squeeze a small dab of the eyelash glue or spirit gum out of the tube and directly onto the cleaned skin by the eyes. Apply the flat side of the rhinestone on top of the adhesive. If the rhinestone is very small, use a tweezers to pick up the rhinestone and apply it to the skin.

3
Press the rhinestone gently onto the skin with a finger. Remove the finger. The rhinestone should stay in place with the jeweled side facing out.

4
Create a design out of rhinestones. You can place a cluster of rhinestones together on the side of the eyelid, spread them out, or line them across the eyebrows or underneath the eyelids. If you have a wide gap between your eyes, you can even place small rhinestones in the inner corner between the eye and the nose.

5
Remove rhinestones from the skin around the eyes by peeling them off with your fingernail. If the adhesive is still strong, wet a cotton ball and place it over the rhinestone. The lubrication will weaken the adhesive.

Tips & Warnings
Some rhinestone bodies have sticky backings that you peel off to reveal the adhesive.
Use caution when handling adhesive substances next to the eyes. Follow the directions carefully on the adhesive packaging so that you do not get the substance into your eyes.
