How to Make a Flip Book With Pictures to Send

Create a flip book with pictures to send family members who cannot be at a special event. Use one side of the page to explain the photo, while pasting the photo on the opposing page. These books are lightweight and will not cost a lot of money to send through regular postal mail. Protect in bubble wrap if you are concerned that the pages will bend while in transit.

Instructions

    • 1

Cut a sheet of paper to 8-by-6 inches tall.

    • 2

Glue photos 1 inch from the bottom of the page with 1-inch margins from the side. This will leave two inches above the photo. Paste photos on both sides of the page or use one side of the page to write a journal entry.

    • 3

Cut a cover from card stock that measures 8-by-6 inches, just like the pages.

    • 4

Measure 2 inches from each side of the page along the top of the book pages. Punch a hole at each marking. Pile the pages on top of each other and punch the holes through each page.

    • 5

Slide a metal ring through the holes and clasp shut. The book is ready to send them.
