How to Make a Cardboard Halloween Bat
A Halloween bat decoration can be used to turn your house into a spooky space for the holiday. Using a sheet of leftover cardboard, you can make the bat prop and hang it from the ceiling, as if the bat was flying. You can even make a series of these bat props and hang them in groups to look like a whole flock of bats are flapping through your house. Consider getting kids involved with the project for a fun Halloween activity.

Lay the stencil on top of a piece of cardboard and trace the shape onto the cardboard, using a pencil. Cut out the traced image.

Punch a hole from the bat's head using a hole punch or a sharp pencil. Tie a 3-foot piece of string from the hole and use the string to hang from the ceiling. Secure the end of the string to the ceiling using clear tape.
