How to Make a Candy Bar Cupcake Gift Basket
Candy bar and cupcake baskets make sweet presents for anyone on your gift-giving list. If a friend or family member has a sweet tooth, surprise her with a decorative gift basket filled with her favorite treats such as frosted cupcakes and gourmet candy bars. Make the cupcakes from scratch as a personalized touch, or buy them if you're in a time crunch. Before filling the basket with the goodies, decorate it to reflect the gift recipient's interests or personality.
Things You'll Need
- Colorful tissue paper, shredded paper or cellophane
- Plastic cupcake boxes
- Ribbons

Place a decorative filler such as colorful shredded paper or tissue paper in the bottom of the basket.

Package the cupcakes in individual plastic boxes to protect them. Alternatively, wrap them individually in colored cellophane.

Arrange the cupcake boxes and candy bars in the basket. Stack the cupcake boxes neatly in the bottom of the basket and stand the candy bars up around the perimeter. Alternatively, alternate the cupcakes and some of the candy bars. Fan the remaining candy bars around the cupcakes on both sides.

Choose a wide ribbon in a color that coordinates with the basket filler. Tie the ribbon into a bow at the top of the basket's handle. Tie two ribbons into bows at each end of the basket handle.
