Instructions

    • 1

Drape a sheet of fabric from the ceiling so that it cascades down the wall to cover it. Use a soft and airy fabric such as lace, organza or even a layer of tulle. Use wedding colors such as white or ivory for a bright but classic touch.

Embellish the sheet of fabric by adhering silk flowers to it with fabric glue. You could also opt to glue on flower petals or rhinestones.

    • 3

Tie ribbon or fishing line to the stems of flowers and suspend them upside down from the ceiling at varying heights. This creates a whimsical effect against the wall and can be executed with the fabric as a backdrop or simply in front of the blank wall to add some visual interest.

Mount a variety of mirrors on the wall to make the space appear more open and to attract visual interest in the space. Use both antique mirrors and modern ones in a variety of shapes and sizes to make the space more interesting.

    • 5

Collect old wedding photos from the bride's and groom's families. Frame them and create a photo collage of the antique photos. Add a photo of the bride and groom in the center of the antique photos to tie in the wedding being celebrated that day.
