How to Make Noisemakers for Sports Events
Events such as baseball, hockey, football and soccer games are a great deal of fun for individuals of all ages. These events typically involve rooting and cheering for one team over the other; if you and your child have a favorite team, craft noisemakers to bring to the next game to show your support. Noisemakers are simple to make at home and require basic materials.
Things You'll Need

Instructions
-
-
1
Use a pair of scissors to cut a sheet of white or colored construction paper to fit around an empty soda can.
-
2
Decorate the paper with craft paint or markers. Use the same colors that represent your favorite team or draw images of the team's jersey and players.
-
-
3
Glue the paper around the empty soda can so covers the outside, leaving the top and bottom. Allow the glue to dry completely.
-
4
Pour a small handful of dried seeds, such as sunflower seeds, into the empty soda can. Avoid adding a large amount of seeds, as it only takes a small number to make sufficient noise.
-
5
Place the soda can on a sheet of cardboard and use a pencil to trace the bottom. Cut the circle out and, if desired, decorate it in a similar fashion to the outside of the soda can.
-
6
Glue the cardboard circle to the top of the soda can to seal it. Allow the glue to dry completely before using your noisemaker at your next sporting event.
