Instructions

    • 1

Fold the bandana in half along one diagonal. After folding, the bandana should be in the shape of a triangle.

    • 2

Wrap the bandana around your face, with the folded edge facing up and the two loose ends in back of your head.

    • 3

Tie the two back corners together behind your head. Tie them so that the bandana stays up by itself around your face but is not tight.

    • 4

Pull the bandana down off your face. It should now be tied around your neck.

    • 5

Pull the two loose corners that are hanging down in the front up and over your head. Stop when the bandana's fold is even with your hairline.

    • 6

Tuck the back corners of the bandana under the tied knot in the back of your head.

Tips & Warnings

  • A red bandana is a classic for pirate outfits, but also experiment with other colors.

  • Consider adding cut-outs of a skull and crossbones to enhance the pirate look.
