How to Make Onesie Flower Arrangements
Giving baby clothes as gifts at a baby shower is practical and helpful, especially "onesies," or baby undershirts that snap together at the bottom. Make your gift stand out by arranging them into something that resembles a flower bouquet -- a double gift that the mother-to-be will appreciate. Follow a basic method for folding the onesies into the shapes of flowers and present them the way you would with actual flowers in a vase or a gift basket.

1
Smooth out each onesie on a clean table top with the front facing up. Fold the onesies in thirds lengthwise.
-
2
Roll the onesies tightly from one short end to the other. Wrap a rubber band around the end where the snaps are, about 1/2 inch from the edge of the fabric on that end.

-
3
Gently pull the outer layer of the roll outward on the end opposite the rubber band to flare it out. The rolled-up onesies will now resemble roses or rosebuds.
-
4
Insert the ends of green pipe cleaners through the centers of the bottoms of the onesie flowers.
-
5
Arrange the onesie flowers in a gift basket or other container that will present the flowers as well as provide a use or decoration. Place silk leaves and other greenery between the flowers.

Tips & Warnings
Roll up baby socks using the same method to make a variety of colors and sizes for the "roses."
Hang a pacifier or two from the tendrils and stick a rattle or other small toy somewhere in the "bouquet."
