How to Send an Email Notification in Thunderbird Calendar

Launched in 1998, the Mozilla Project attracted programmers and other community members who devoted their talents to develop an open-source platform Web browser. The Mozilla Lightning project is an extension for the Mozilla Thunderbird email client. Lightning’s free calendar software can help keep you organized as you list appointments, meetings and events. Apply the integrated email and digital calendar to invite or receive invitations for the tasks ahead.

Instructions

1. Open the Mozilla Thunderbird calendar program.

2. Double-click the calendar. The “New Event” dialog box opens with a fillable form.

3. Type the details for the calendar event.

4. Click “Invite Attendees.”

5. Type the email addresses on the left pane.

6. Click “OK.”

7. Click “Save and Close.” Follow the prompts for sending email messages.

Tips & Warnings

• If the Thunderbird calendar does not appear, click the “Events and Tasks” menu, then click “Calendar.”
