How to Run iTunes Genius Apps
ITunes, the Apple media player and library, offers you the ability to download and sync music, videos and audio books. ITunes 9 or later has even more features such as the Genius app. The Genius feature creates a playlist for you based on a song you enjoy listening to. This can be convenient if you don't feel like searching for songs to add to your media player. You can add the Genius app to your iPhone or iPod, and enjoy the music at your leisure.

Click the "Start" button, click "All Programs" and click "iTunes" to open the media application.

Click "Store," "Update Genius" and click "Genius Mixes." This will display up to 12 Genius Mixes in the grid mode.

Attach one end of your iPhone or iPod's USB cable into the computer's USB port and the other end into your iPhone or iPod.

Click on your iPhone or iPod in the "Devices" area on the left side of the screen.

Click the "Music" tab. Choose the "Genius Mixes" you want to sync with your iPhone or iPod in the Playlists section. Click "Sync" and wait for the transfers to complete. Click "Eject" on the screen, and disconnect your iPhone or iPod from the computer.

Tap the "iPod" app on your iPhone or iPod. Select "Genius" to run the Genius app and tap any of the mixes to play them.
