How to Make a Lollipop Tree for a Baby Shower
Baby showers are as much for the guests as they are for the mom-to-be and coming baby. A lollipop-tree centerpiece creatively presents party favors. The sweet lollipops don't have to be the only treat for guests in a lollipop tree. Attaching jewelry charms enhances the baby-shower theme while giving the guests an extra-special souvenir of the event. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- 8-inch-tall Styrofoam cone
- 3 Sheets blue or pink tissue paper
- Craft glue
- Scissors
- Blue or pink ribbons
- 24 Lollipops
- 24 Baby shower jewelry charms

Glue one sheet of blue or pink tissue paper over a Styrofoam cone with craft glue to completely cover the cone.

Cut the remaining two sheets of tissue paper into 12 squares measuring 3 inches per side.

Measure out and cut 24 8-inch blue ribbons to match the tissue paper.

Wrap each square around the top of a lollipop and tie a ribbon around the base of the lollipop over the tissue paper to secure it.

Insert the the end of each ribbon through one baby-shower jewelry charm.

Tie a bow into the ribbon to attach the charm to the lollipop.

Insert the sticks of the lollipops into the covered Styrofoam cone in columns; make six columns around the cone with four lollipops in each column.

Tips & Warnings
Look in craft stores or bead shops for baby-shower-related charms. Designs might include miniature pacifiers, pairs of baby booties, baby bottles or rubber ducks.
