How to Make a Candyland Centerpiece
Candyland is a sweet party theme, lending itself to colorful, fun and edible decorations. The game Candyland was introduced in 1949 and has sold over 40 million copies, so both children and adults will get into the spirit of a Candyland party. Candyland is a natural for so many centerpiece ideas that it may be difficult to pick just one. A game board on each table is the perfect base to build on, adding a single centerpiece or a combination of several to create a ready-to-party look.

Create a Candy Bouquet

Colorful lollipops are perfect for a candy bouquet centerpiece. Create a candy bouquet for each table. Fill a flower pot or vase with jelly beans, red hots or an assortment of candies. Stick large lollipops into the pots. Choose a variety of round and long twisted ones to add pizazz.

Gumdrops make a colorful flower accent. Press large gumdrops onto lollipop sticks and arrange in the container. Accent with pixie sticks or any candies that come in a straw. Select giant straws in bright colors for maximum impact.

Balloons wrapped as candy add a festive touch. Make giant pieces of floating candy to give your centerpiece height. Fill balloons with helium and tie with curling ribbon, leaving a 2-foot tail of ribbon.
