How to Get PlayStation 3 to Stream Vuze Movies

All you need is a computer and Internet acess to stream movies through your PS3.

Vuze is a BitTorrent program that helps download and manage file-sharing data. The program can be used with the PlayStation 3 to stream video and music files from your personal computer to your television. All you need is a computer, a PlayStation 3 and Internet access and you can be ready to watch movies and television shows directly from your computer.

Instructions

1. Download the latest version of Vuze to your computer. You can download Vuze software for free at Vuze's website.

2. Turn on your PlayStation 3. Allow your PS3 to navigate to the PlayStation home screen.

3. Open Vuze on your personal computer. Inspect the media toolbar on the left side of the Vuze screen and look for a PS3 icon underneath the devices menu. Vuze should automatically detect your PlayStation 3 via a wireless signal so there is no need for a wired connection between your PS3 and your computer.

4. Click and drag any movie from the Vuze library to the PS3 icon. Depending on the movie format, Vuze may prompt you to reformat the movie into a capable format. In this case, allow Vuze to reformat the movie into a capable file extension.

5. Navigate to the video menu on your PlayStation 3 screen. Scroll down to the Vuze icon. Click the "X" key on your PS3 controller to get to the Vuze video library. Navigate to the Vuze movie of your choice and click the "X" key on your PS3 controller to start the movie.
