Remount your ejected iPod to sync or charge the device with the computer.

An ejected iPod is automatically or manually disconnected from your computer to safely remove the portable device without damage to the iPod. It can be remounted to the computer to reestablish a connection between the device and the iTunes library. Once remounted, the iPod appears in the source menu of iTunes on the left side of the library. The device remains visible while it is connected and can be charged through the USB or FireWire cable until the iPod's battery icon is displays a full-charge image.
