How to Sell a Junk Car in Milwaukee
To sell a junk car in Milwaukee, you need to find contacts for the sale, and various places will have different requirements. Some will take the car whole, and some will require that the car be stripped of some parts. Scrap and salvage yards operate differently when buying junk cars, and many garages and private parties will buy junk cars as well.

1
Call Roz Auto Salvage if you have a junk car for sale. They take whole and part cars, and have a pick up service available. They usually only pay for cars that are complete, so cars that are missing parts may not be paid for (see Resources below).
-
2
Sell the car in the "Milwaukee Journal" under "Junk cars for sale." This is one fast way to sell a junk car. The advertisements can run every weekday or just on the weekends. More sales come from weekend advertising. Do not list the price unless it is set in stone with no room for bargaining (see Resources below).

Contact Alright Auto Junk Yard to sell the junk car. They have pick up service and will pay some money for junks cars. The requirements for being paid are determined by the year and make of the car. They will also take cars that have been dismantled for parts (see Resources below).

Discuss scrap metal prices with United Milwaukee Scrap Metal. They buy junk cars for scrap metal prices. This company does require all parts be taken off of the car as well as the tires. They will take the tires and charge you a fee to get rid of them (see Resources below).

Sell the car to the Milwaukee school system. They may not pay much or anything at all, but it will be a tax deduction for you. The school system uses these cars to teach kids how to fix them, and then they sell them to buy more workshop tools (see Resources below).
