Making Homemade Orange Oil for Wood Diffuser

If you are looking for a way to freshen your home, try using a wood diffuser paired with homemade orange oil. Homemade orange oil requires the use of just a few inexpensive ingredients and can be used in any room in your home.

Things You'll Need

• 2 ounces of orange essential oil
• 5 ounce glass bottle
• 2 1/2 ounces of reed diffuser oil
• 1/4 ounce of perfumer's alcohol
• 12 thin diffuser reeds

Instructions

1. Pour 2 ounces of orange essential oil into a 5 ounce glass bottle.

2. Add 2 1/2 ounces of reed diffuser oil to the glass bottle.

3. Pour 1/4 ounce of perfumer's alcohol into the glass bottle.

4. Add 12 thin diffuser reeds and enjoy the scent.

Tips & Warnings

• If the solution turns out too thick, adding an additional 1/4 ounce of perfumer's alcohol to the mixture will thin it out.

• Using essential oil will only provide a light scent. If you wish to make a stronger scented diffuser oil, try using synthetic orange fragrance instead of essential oil.
