With the advancement of the Internet, getting your music heard has never been easier. Unfortunately, just because your music is available on the Internet does not mean that people are downloading or even listening to it. Simply placing a song on YouTube is no guarantee that you will become an overnight success. There is still a lot of other work to be done to gain name recognition. Create a website for yourself or your band. Create a specific logo or avatar for the site and use it everywhere you go on the Internet. Add a blog to your site where you can update information about upcoming song titles, your own music genre preferences and what your band is doing.
