DIY Old Lady Costume for Little Girls
If your daughter is in need of a quick costume for Halloween or a school play, consider putting together a simple Old Lady costume. Dress your little girl in a long, floral print dress. Choose colors such as black, dark purple or burgundy, and stay away from pastels that look too much like something a child would wear. Place a knit cardigan over the dress.

Turn an old shower curtain rod into a cane by spray painting it brown or black.

Pop the lenses out of a pair of eye glasses and place them on the bridge of her nose. Add accessories such as a large brooch or a cameo necklace.
