How to Cover a Beard Shadow

For those wishing to hide this subdermal stubble a popular option is to cover the affected area with makeup in order to ensure a smooth and natural look after a shave. 1
Shave as close to the skin as possible and condition your skin with a shaving gel of your choice. Using very warm to hot water aids in getting a close shave because it opens up the pores in your skin.
-
2
Rinse with cold water after shaving to close the pores, then apply the moisturizing cream to your face, allowing about 5 minutes for it be absorbed into your skin.
-
-
3
Apply a thin layer of face primer. This should create a smooth, matte finish to your skin and allows for easier application of makeup. Allow the primer to set for 2 to 3 minutes.
-
4
Apply a layer of concealing makeup with the camouflage brush. The concealer gives your face and neck a natural looking skin tone while covering up razor bumps and other skin blemishes.
-
5
"Feather" the makeup with your fingers then allow the concealer to dry for about five minutes. Your face and neck should now appear naturally smooth and shadow-free for up to eight hours, depending on your level of perspiration and the environmental humidity.
